Based on the drilling template I created a simple artwork. I used Inkscape for that, it’s free.
That’s my design:
While designing the artwork I repeatedly print out the artwork to check, if:
- the distances match up
- the lettering isn’t covered by anything
If the final version is ready, I print it out on the decal.
