The Decal can be put on after the first layer of clear coat dried.
Based on the drilling template I created a simple artwork. I used Inkscape for that, it’s free.
That’s my design:
In the bassic.ch board a member named LittleLui did his own template:
.svg <- You got to install the font “Berlin Sans FB Demi Bold”, afterwards the font will fit into the design.
While designing the artwork I repeatedly print out the artwort to check, if:
- the distances match up
- the lettering isn’t covered by anything
If the final version is ready, I print it out on the decal (in my case: laser, transparent)
Putting on the decal was in the beginning very hard for me, but there are very good videos out there which show you how to do it.
